Setup & How to Play

Place the board so that each player has a white square in the bottom-right corner.
Arrange the pieces from left to right on the back row as: Rook, Knight, Bishop, Queen, King, Bishop, Knight, Rook.
The Queen goes on the square of her own colour.
Place pawns in the second row.

The goal is to checkmate your opponent’s king, which means putting the king in a position where it is under attack and cannot escape.
